چکیده

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have a considerable regulatory influence on multiple biological processes. Nevertheless, the role of TMEM220-AS1 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains unclear. We used The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database to analyze differentially expressed lncRNAs. qRT-PCR was verify results for large population. vitro effects HCC cells were determined using Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8), 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine (EdU), flow cytometry, and Transwell assays cells. western blotting identify epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Moreover, we performed bioinformatics analysis, blotting, dual luciferase reporter gene assay, RNA pull-down, binding protein immunoprecipitation (RIP) investigate underlying molecular mechanisms function. Finally, function verified vivo . showed that at considerably low levels HCC. It demonstrated malignant phenotypes EMT promoted by knock down both TMEM220-AS1, which detected primarily cytoplasm, functioned as an miRNA sponge bind miR-484 promote level membrane-associated guanylate kinase, WW, PDZ domain containing 1 ( MAGI1 ), thereby curbing In conclusion, proliferation metastasis through miR-484/ axis

Long noncoding RNA NNT-AS1 promotes hepatocellular carcinoma progression and metastasis through miR-363/CDK6 axis

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been tested to act as important regulator in liver cancer genesis and progression. LncRNA Nicotinamide Nucleotide Transhydrogenase-antisense RNA1 (NNT-AS1) has been reported to participate in the tumorigenesis. However, the exact molecular mechanism of NNT-AS1 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is still unknown. In present study, our team identified the up-reg...

Long non-coding RNA MEG3 functions as a competing endogenous RNA to regulate gastric cancer progression

BACKGROUND Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have recently emerged as important regulators in governing fundamental biological processes, and many of which are likely to have functional roles in tumorigenesis. Maternally expressed gene 3 (MEG3) gene encodes a lncRNA whose expression is lost in an expanding list of primary human tumors and tumor cell lines, however its biological role and regulatory...

SOX2OT, a long non-coding RNA involved in autophagy regulation

Summary: SOX2 overlapping transcript (SOX2OT) is a long non-coding RNA associated with cancer pathogenesis. It contributes to a variety of cellular functions and recent evidence propounds its association with autophagy process. It has been showed that SOX2OT can regulate the expression of different autophagy associated factors in human cells with different mechanisms, however more remains to ...

Study of Long Noncoding RNA FER1L4 and RB1, as Its Competing Endogenous RNA Network Target Gene, in Breast Cancer

Introduction: Breast cancer is the second most common cause of cancer-related death among females, which requires an exploration for markers to propose a more specific categorization of this cancer. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), the main subset of noncoding transcripts, are involved in tumorigenic processes. In this study, we investigated the expression of the fer-1–like family member 4 (FER...

Long Non-coding RNA ZEB1-AS1 Promotes Tumorigenesis and Metastasis in Colorectal Cancer

Emerging evidence implicates that a large fraction of human genome was transcribed but the transcripts known as long non coding RNA are not translated into proteins. They are contributing in different cellular processes, including cellular proliferation and apoptosis. LncRNAs were found to play critical roles in many diseases and act as key regulators in malignancies. In this study, we investig...
